You have your own access via a driveway at the side and an enclosed back garden surrounded by croft land. The neighbouring crofter breeds beautiful cows and you may see a few from the window as they graze nearby.

It is often possible to witness the local deer having a quiet graze as well, usually at dawn and again at dusk, but you need to be more patient to see the White-tailed Sea Eagles who hover over the loch, often in pairs, looking for somewhere to settle.

There are great local amenities available in nearby Kershader at Ravenspoint, with a museum, Post Office, shop and café. This is manned by local people who have a fount of knowledge of all that is going on in the area, you only need to ask!
